Policy

How we work together. Short, written, and non-negotiable: the terms that protect your launch as much as our craft. Everything below is agreed in writing before a project starts.

1. One project at a time

We take on a single project at a time so your build has our full attention until it ships. Timelines are honest because nothing else is competing for the desk.

Before we start:

A written scope: objectives, deliverables and the outcome we optimise for
A fixed engagement fee against that scope, never billed by the hour

What moves a date:

Content, feedback or approvals arriving after the agreed days
Scope added mid-project before it is written, priced and agreed
A deposit that has not landed; the slot is held only once it does

Delays on inputs move the delivery date fairly; we keep to ours.

2. Deposit and delivery

A deposit books your dates and work begins when it lands. The balance follows agreed milestones. Each stage includes a defined revision round; further rounds are scoped and priced before they begin.

3. Ownership

On final payment the launched work and all files transfer to you in full, clean and complete. Our internal tooling, processes and unused concepts remain with the studio so we can keep improving how the work is made.

4. Confidentiality and responsibility

Anything you share stays between us. We only show finished work publicly with your agreement, and never before a launch you have not announced. Content supplied by you or third parties remains your responsibility. Mad Genius is not liable for loss arising from third-party tools or platform changes outside our control.

5. Scope changes

New ideas mid-project are welcome. They are scoped, priced and agreed before they enter the build, so nothing derails the launch or the budget. Questions on any clause: hello@bki-eg.com, answered within one business day.
